  • TASC Annual Symposium: Building Capacity for Growth in Africa, October 23, 2007

     

    The event, "Building Capacity for Growth in Africa" explored   the most critical poverty reduction and economic development    challenges in Africa.  Participants discussed the role of the United States and generated concrete policy ideas for Congress and the administration.

    Co-hosts included: One Campaign, DATA, Bread for the World, Brookings Institution, Oxfam America, Constituency for Africa, Partnership to Cut Hunger and Poverty in Africa, Center for Global Development, The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, German Marshall Fund of the United States, Alliance to End Hunger, Women's Edge Coalition.
