GLOBALWORKS FOUNDATION has donated $1,250 thus far to flood relief efforts in Bangladesh. A portion of the funding went to The Hunger Project, which has 100,000 trained volunteers--40 percent of whom are women. Our funding has played a role in helping the volunteers take immediate action to help secure food for the victims, gain access to water purification tablets, and move to dry land.
